About PFLAGPFLAG National began in 1972 when a mother of an "out" gay man decided that there needed to be support systems in place for loved ones of LGBTQ+ individuals. Eventually the organization spread throughout the nation in order to help support more families.
PFLAG of Attleboro wants to bring that support to our local community. |
Who We Are |
PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and gender non-conforming persons, their families and friends and allies through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. PFLAG provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.
Please join us as we grow in the Attleboro community. |
